The reinforcement of the rear subframe mounting for the BMW E36 has been developed by RS-Ultimate, with precise fitting to the original mounting points and floor indentations in mind.
The reinforcement elements can be welded without additional modifications to the chassis or the rear subframe itself. They feature numerous and varied bends and a large contact surface, allowing them to handle much higher loads. The stiffeners have 4 additional "leaves" that must be shaped on the semicircular part of the original floor indentation in the BMW E36, after preliminary welding. Their unique shape allows for precise fitting to the contour of the indentation, and the gaps formed after bending allow for a perfect weld between the stiffeners and the floor.
The elements feature numerous perforations, which allow, among other things, for connecting to the basic welding points of the chassis components.
This product is intended for cars that, due to the passage of time, require the repair or reconstruction of the original mounting. Additionally, the reinforcement is also used for tuning purposes to prevent damage during intense use in motorsport or during events such as Drift, KJS, 1/4 mile, Time Attack, etc.
The elements are manufactured using numerical CNC machines, ensuring the highest quality and repeatability of production. Additionally, they are protected with anti-corrosion wax.
